Triplet Trivet

Three sizes very easy coaster pattern... I've made them for my tefal pans to prevent scratches :)


Skill Level: Beginner

Size:

*Coaster Small: 16 cm (6,4")

*Coaster Medium: 20 cm (7,8")

*Coaster Large: 23 cm (9")


Materials: 9 mm (US M-13) hook, Worsted weight yarn; 100 gram approx 180 m. (wpi: 8 - 9)


Stitches Used: Chain stitches (ch), stitch (st), slip stitch (sl st), single crochet (sc), double crochet (dc), extended double crochet (edc).

Note: You can use the pattern to mix-and-match any color combination, and style according to your needs.


Coaster Small

Center: ch4, sl st into first chain to create a ring or you can do a magic ring.

Rnd 1: ch 3 (do not counts as first edc), work 10 edc in ring. Join the end of the round with a sl st in the first edc. (10 edc)

Rnd 2: ch3 and 2 edc in same st, 2 edc in each edc around, slst in the first edc.(20 edc)

Rnd 3: ch3 and 2 edc in same st, edc in next edc, *2 edc in next edc, edc in next edc* Repeat from *to* around slst in the first edc.(30 edc)

Rnd 4: ch1 and 3 sc in same st, 3 dc in next edc, *3 sc in next edc, 3 dc in next edc* Repeat from *to* around slst in the first sc.

Hanging loop: ch6 skip next sc and sl st in second sc. Fasten off.



Coaster Medium

Center: ch4, sl st into first chain to create a ring or you can do a magic ring.

Rnd 1: ch 3 (do not counts as first edc), work 12 edc in ring. Join the end of the round with a sl st in the first edc. (12 edc)

Rnd 2: ch3 and 2 edc in same st,2 edc in each edc around, slst in the first edc.(24 edc)

Rnd 3: ch3 and 2 edc in same st, edcin next edc, *2 edc in next edc, edc in next edc* Repeat from *to* around slst in the first edc. (36 edc)

Rnd 4: ch3 and 2 edc in same st, edcin next 2 edc, *2 edc in next edc, edc in next 2 edc* Repeat from *to* around slst in the first edc. (48 edc)

Rnd 5: ch3 and 2 edc in same st, sc in next edc, *3 edc in next edc, sc in next edc* Repeat from *to* around slst in the first edc. Fasten off.



Coaster Large

Center: ch4, sl st into first chain to create a ring or you can do a magic ring.

Rnd 1: ch 3 (do not counts as first edc), work 12 edc in ring. Join the end of the round with a sl st in the first edc. (12 edc)

Rnd 2: ch3 and 2 edc in same st,2 edc in each edc around, slst in the first edc.(24dc)

Rnd 3: ch3 and 2 edc in same st, edc in next edc, *2 edc in next edc, edc in next edc* Repeat from *to* around slst in the first edc. (36 edc)

Rnd 4: ch3 and 2 edc in same st, edc in next 2 edc, *2 edc in next edc, edc in next 2 edc* Repeat from *to* around slst in the first edc. (48 edc)

Rnd 5: ch3 and 2 edc in same st, edc in next 3 edc, *2 edc in next edc, edc in next 3 edc* Repeat from *to* around slst in the first edc.(60 edc)

Rnd 6: ch2 and 2 dc in same st, slst in next 2 edc, *3 dc in next edc, slst in next 2 edc* Repeat from *to* around slst in the first edc.Fasten off.
